  • How long is the exam? What is the passing score for this exam?

    You must answer at least 17 out of 33 questions correctly to pass the exam. The duration of the exam is 60 minutes.

  • Do I have to pass both the Einbürgerung and Leben in Deutschland exams?

    No. Both the Leben in Deutschland and Einbürgerungstest exams are administered by the Federal Office for Migration and Asylum BAMF. The questions of both exams are the same and the procedure of conducting both exams is the same, but these two exams are not equivalent! It is much better for taking the Leben in Deutschland test because it allows you to apply for an integration course certificate, but this is not possible for people who have passed the Einbürgerungstest.

  • I have an old booklet of this exam. Can I study with it?
